CHANGE 2: CUT-OFF DATE FOR PLAYER AGE ELIGIBILITY

Boys: August 31 or
Girls: January 1
of the current year.
These respective dates identify the “league age” as it relates to a player’s eligibility to participate in any of Little League’s divisions of play.

CHANGE 3: TEE BALL ELIGIBILITY
Tee Ball will be reserved for 4-5 years old players. If you child is 5 years old and you feel the player has the abilities to advance in the Instructional Division. They may do so.
CHANGE 4: INSTRUCTIONAL DIVISION ELIGIBILITY
We will continue to offer the Instructional Division. Players between the ages of 5-6 are eligible to play in the instructional division. A minimum of one year must be played in the Tee Ball division if the player is requesting to be moved up in the Instructional division, but only eligible for Tee Ball. Players meeting the age requirement for Instructional, who have not played Tee Ball, will still be eligible.
CHANGE 5: MINOR BOYS
No changes in this division so far as the age eligibility. Minor Boys will now be renamed “MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL DIVISION”.
CHANGE 6: ELIMINATION OF JUNIOR/SENIOR BOY DIVISIONS
We will continue to offer baseball for the same age groups, however, the “naming” of these divisions will be changed to “MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL DIVISION”. The major division will consist of players in ages ranging from 9-12 – just as this past spring.
Once the registration period ends and we know how many children we have, the Board of Directors of HCCYL will make a decision on the “split” of the age groups. If no split can occur, then the division will remain as one “MAJOR” Division.
CHANGE 7: MINOR GIRLS DIVISION
No changes in this division so far as the age eligibility. Minor Girls will now be renamed “MINOR LEAGUE SOFTBALL DIVISION”.
CHANGE 8: SENIOR GIRLS DIVISION
No changes in this division so far as the age eligibility. Senior Girls will now be renamed “JUNIOR LEAGUE SOFTBALL DIVISION”.
CHANGE 9: SENIOR DIVISIONS ADDED FOR BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL
We have added two “senior” divisions for baseball and softball. The player age eligibility for boys is over the age of 13 and for girls over the age of 14. These two divisions will only be available depending on the number of players in this age group that register.
