Each season HCCYL receives several emails and messages asking when everything is taking place over the course of the season. We thought we would wrap everything up in this article. Please feel free to take a screen shot or save the link for quick reference in the future. All dates are subject to change by HCCYL without prior notice.

The following are all of the dates currently marked on our calendar, along with, a brief description of the event planned for that day:

January 30, 2020 - ONLINE REGISTRATION IS OFFICIALLY OPEN: HCCYL will not be accepting paper registrations this year. In the era of advanced technology, HCCYL is stepping into this world and eliminating the need to track down paper registrations, data entry of those registrations into the HCCYL Little League database, and chasing down returned checks. Online registration is secure, fast and easy. All you need is an email address and checking account!

CANCELLED: March 17, 2020 - EVALUATION DAY. 5:30 - 7:30pm @ JSMC/PB Sportsplex: Evaluation Day is reserved for competitive divisions only! This means that Tee Ball and Instructional Division participants WILL NOT attend Evaluation Day. Evaluation is mandatory for all baseball and softball players in the Major/Minor Divisions. Please email us @ [email protected] with any questions. Your player should be prepared to show up to evaluation with his/her bat, glove, and helmet. Cleats are not necessary.

APRIL 5. 2020 - ONLINE REGISTRATION ENDS. Online registration is over. You now have ONE MORE CHANCE to register by attending the March 24 Evaluation Day.

CANCELLED: March 24, 2020 - EVALUATION DAY. 5:30 - 7:30pm @ JSMC/PB Sportsplex. THIS IS ALSO THE LAST OPPORTUNITY YOU WILL HAVE TO REGISTER YOUR PLAYER FOR THE 2020 SPRING SEASON: Evaluation Day is reserved for competitive divisions only! April 13 & 14, 2020 - DRAFT DAYS: Location to be announced. Draft is an event specifically for COACH / ASSISTANT COACH ONLY. Please do not bring your child to draft. During this event, team rosters are determined. Your coach will leave draft with their roster and boxes of chocolate bars to distribute to his/her team. You should receive a call from your coach shortly after draft. If you have not, please email us at [email protected].

April 16, 2020 - PRACTICE BEGINS: Practice schedules will be handed out to the coaches during the draft events.

May 5, 2020 - GAMES BEGINS: Game schedules will be handed out prior to the end of the practice season.

May 16, 2020 - SUPER SATURDAY: You will definitely want to mark this on k your calendar. This is an all day event for HCCYL where each team plays a regular season game. In addition, each team will have an opportunity to take individual player and team pictures by Southern Exposure, Hopkinsville. We will also have competition events for our Major/Minor players as well as "Backyard Bouncers" for our younger players.
