We would like to thank everyone that signed up to play baseball this Fall 2020 season with HCCYL! We are also very glad to announce that we received enough registrations in order to meet the minimum division requirements! IT’S TIME TO PLAY BALL!
Here is what to expect next. Please make note of all the dates and check our website and Facebook page often for updates as they come along.
August 11 – COACH SELECTION: If you signed up to volunteer as a head coach or volunteer coach this fall, you will be contacted by our Coach Coordinator, Bradford Carroll this Tuesday. We appreciate everyone giving up their time to be a positive role model to the youth in our community.
August 13 – DRAFT: Draft will be held at the Western KY State Fairgrounds Convention Center. Due to the COVID gathering restrictions, we will need to restrict this event for HCCYL board and HEAD COACHES ONLY. Please be mindful of your division’s draft times and refrain from entering the building until we finish up with the preceding division’s draft.
Draft Times: Minor Baseball Division 6:00pm
Tee Ball / Instructional Division 6:30pm
Major Baseball Division 7:00pm
August 17 – PRACTICE BEGINS: You will be contacted by your coach shortly after the draft event. He/She will be able to give you the season’s practice schedule and general guidelines for this Fall’s season.
August 24 – GAMES SCHEDULES RELEASED
September 1 – GAMES BEGIN
September 19 – SUPER SATURDAY: All day event at Ruff Park where your child will take team/individual photos and play a game!
